VELO-CITY | 2011 PREVOUS WORK | NEXT WORK

Velo-City is a two-screen video installation, inspired by P. Virilio's concept dromology -  how acceleration of technology controls everything from politics, war and media, to the human body. Themes explored are notions of surveillance, the imagined border & the terminal self.

Velo-City questions the nature of how time is perceived, within the cultural phenomenon of technology. By playing with subjective and objective perspectives, it is an attempt to experiment with non-linear realities, past departures and future arrivals, expectations and memory.

Choreography inspired by contrapuntal lines of rhythm.
